The 3rd and 4th grade art students have been happily tearing apart magazines as part of an art unit on recycling. The students learned the importance of recycling and explored different ideas about what items might be recycled into something useful. After carefully removing individual magazine pages, the students folded the paper into flat tubes that would become the body of the bowl. The resulting bowls are creatively colorful, recycled, works of art!
